Yoga has been a major component in my life for more than 10 years. In 2008 I began my 200hr RYT Vinyasa training program. For 6 months I studied movement, breath, alignment and reflexology- all of which lends to my personal practice and teaching style. I teach a slower flow class where we focus on breathing cues, muscle cues and it is a great place for a beginner, someone recovering from injury and those looking to create some stillness in their weeks! Body work is an important part of my classes, helping achieve a deeper level of relaxation and tension release. Happily I offer private coaching where we can focus on mobility recovery, deep relaxation and some thai massage bodywork.

As a chronic pain and migraine sufferer, I was drawn to yoga as a way to practice slowing down and managing the way I feel, conscious about relaxing and feeling comfortable in the body I've been given.

In 2015, I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia, bulging discs and degenerative vertebra - which deepend my need for a personal practice. Every moment I spend on the mat, getting moving and staying active helps me enjoy my body more and improve my pain management, regain mobility and ease tension.

When I'm not on the mat, climbing, or learning aerial silks, I teach various technical topics in the School of Buisness and Information Technology at the University of Phoenix, aid small businesses in the development of their websites/ecommerce platforms, homeschool my 3 beautiful kids, quilt, cook and raise chickens.

I love learning and haven't decided what I want to be when I grow up, so for now I'll just keep trying new things!
