My passion for coaching began when I first started out as a gymnastic coach and has further developed since then. I have been climbing for several years learning how to boulder, sport climb, lead climb and multi-pitch. After climbing for some time, I became a coach for the Competition Rock Climbing Team and the Recreation Team at Rock Fitness. In the midst of coaching at Rock Fitness I wanted to further my knowledge in the practice of yoga in order to understand how to realign the body while training.

I recieved my teacher training at Re: form Yoga Studio. I have completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training focusing on how to incorporate yoga as a lifelong practice. Since then I have taught yoga at Rock Fitness and several high schools. I am currently furthering a career as a high school PE teacher; this career joins many areas of my expertise under one focus. My most recent endeavors have been dedicated to competing in Spartan races. As a fitness instructor I personally feel it is important to stay active and lead by example. I have dabbled in many forms of training including rock climbing, yoga, acro-yoga, running, weight lifting, and aerial silks. I enjoy learning new skills, training hard, and finding new ways to cross train to improve fitness for myself and those I have the privilege to train or coach.
